Hitwise Flash Movie

The Hitwise service provides clients with an indication of the relative popularity of Websites, based on the measurement of visits, visit duration or page downloads from a range of geographically diverse ISP networks.

Hitwise approached SitePoint to create a movie in the Flash format to explain the various web measurement techniques.

The movie, which incorporates a full narrative, takes you through the whole process from how the Internet works to a full breakdown of the 4 key measurement methods available.

Aside from the narrate and animation, the movie contains a fully interactive pull-down menu so the user can jump to a particular section of interest. Forward and back controls enable the user to skip and repeat sections as they please.
